when I was in the glass industry I noticed that the PPG windshields were normal 3mm/3mm laminated glass, while the imported ones (Benson was the brand, from China I believe) felt like 2mm/2mm or maybe a 2mm & a 3mm layer.

forgot to add: even thought I'm Plymouth through and through, it's all about a brand new, shiny red, Super Stock DODGE. :D
