I was curious about that- when I stripped my hood last fall, there were no holes for the emblem (and none had ever been filled there either). I expected to find them...

Napa and places like that also have compatible light sockets... edit- of course, they wouldn't just plug in though.

agreed- I don't see anything wrong with it build-wise. As far as finishing goes, if you get a used original that needs repairs (like I have) then you still have to go through the horribly monotonous task of masking it for paint anyways lol.
