    11/16 tie rod ends

here is a link to another thread which asks the same thing.....it has a link to a chart that shows the breakdown of the vehicle years and what they use. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=289266&highlight=body+tie+rod I ordered the 11/16ths tie rod ends for a 1966 Fury...

ProForged tie rod sleeves (thumbs down)

Thanks for the heads up. I actually saw those on the website but I was confused by the wording on the part description, I obviously should have called PST. I'll be buying a few of the other suspension and steering parts P-S-T offers. Separate issue.......... Firestone has a life time...

ProForged tie rod sleeves (thumbs down)

I purchased 4 billet tie rod sleeves made by ProForged, only 1 is threaded correctly and works as intended. Proforged won't respond to my calls, messages, emails. I recomend a no buy :wack: P.S. The parts look awesome though.

    Hotchkis leaf springs sagg brand-new

My 2 cents, I wont buy Hotchkis leafs again. My experience could be entirely my fault....I'm no expert....and prolly not the sharpest tool in the shed. Replaced old sagging leafs that previous owner used a grinder on to make room for 275 wide tires....replaced w/ Hotchkis road race leafs. Car...

hotchkis leaf springs sitting too low :(

to OP, I had same issue. I used the springs only.....rear of vehicle was lowered more than the advertised 1". I had a spring shop add 1 full size leaf to the leaf stack. I'm happy with the way it sits now, the extra leaf added approx 1/2"-1" in height. Also happy with the ride. Ride quality...

    installing shocks

Should be able to put rear of car on jack stands, then put jack under the axle. Put shock on upper mount, then jack up the rear so it will slide on. Or if shock hangs lower than rear end when car is supported then compress the shock with jack untill it will slide on.

    Hotchkis Total System

I agree with everyone else. Do it when you can. =D> I went from no torsion bars front or back etc to slowly adding all of the goodies (no aftermarket tie rods/steering box/control arms yet). After adding each part i'd go for a test drive. Every Hotchkis or PST suspension part i've put on...

    Ride is too harsh

How big are the torsion bars and sway bars exactly? Small block or big block in the engine bay? I've read about several different schools of thought regarding the stiffness of sway bars vs. torsion bars/coil springs. The different choices will effect your ride differently. Could go...

New P-S-T Torsion Bars Do Not Fit

I installed PST torsion bars at Christmas time. I had the same issue with mine. I removed the old bars. New ones wouldnt go right in because of the clocking issue. I had a second person slowly lower the car with jack stands under the lower control arms untill the "torsion bar housing" was...
