Just got myself a 68 Barracuda Fastback!
Your trans will work behind a big block, you just would need a different front case with larger diameter front bearing retainer or an adapter ring. I ran mine decades ago behind a small block. Just got myself a 68 Barracuda Fastback!
I'm a big block guy. However, if I had a 68 Barracuda, I'd probably be too tempted to build a SS/AH clone factory look or close too it. I know the SS cars are overdone, but they are just so awesome.- Brad4406

440 stuffed in a 65 cuda
First off, welcome to the site and thank you for your service. Yep, many threads about it here, but exhaust will be an issue. Off the shelf headers must be modified for use or custom headers made. There are supposedly log manifolds that will work, but there is always a debate on which ones...- Brad4406
