    Help with strange knock???

I broke the mount under the steering box on my 340 Challenger once. Lots of strange bumps and steering wheel felt weird. When the car was not running it looked fine. Revved the engine with the hood up and whooooa look at that engine roll in the engine bay! I swapped out the K member as a fix.

CONTROL FREAKS IFS A-Body 440 setup

Cleaner looking vs tried and true parts with millions of miles on them? I think the desired outcome was handling and not how it looks. My two cents. Mike

Flaming River and PST Fast ratio kit?

So I was wondering if it is ok to install the Flaming River quick Ratio steering box with the PST Fast Ratio steering kit? Just wondering if this would be twitchy, hate to sneeze and run off the road  Header clearance should not be an issue as I will not be running headers. Single pipe...

    Hellwig Hollow sway bars

I am also interested in Hellwig and hotchkiss and wonder if they are worth the money. What advantages is there to a hollow bar with the same outer diameter? Is it stiffer material? Were you guys running sway bars prior to installing these? If so what were they and was the hardware the same? Like...

Cheapest way to get an inch or 2...

Cheapest would be the air shocks but I would not do air shocks, maybe helper springs on shocks but even that is sketchy. Glad you are not going the way of shackles. Can't stNd that look. Add a leaf, rearched or new would be much better.

K Member bolt size and best swap options?

Thanks 1970 Duster. I ended up not pulling the k member. In my other reply I mentioned that someone did just what you said to do. They pulled the whole shebang off the front. :tongue6: They got the upper and lower control arms with calipers, disks etc. Someone in Northern California is doing...

K Member bolt size and best swap options?

CudaMark, A belated thank you for this needed info! Definitely going to the large pattern. I did this swap on my 67 Dart Vert, still need the BBP axles for the 8 3/4. Waiting for a deal on those as I need two sets, one for my 67 hardtop and one for the vert. I do have a set of the adapters...

K Member bolt size and best swap options?

Hello FABO folks, I have a 67 Dart 273 with tiny drum brakes. Thinking about doing a swap to a newer K member to avoid the 67 pitman arm as well as stiffen up, weld up the K member. Then upgrade to Disc brakes and rebuilt front end. Anyone know off hand the bolt size for the large four bolts...
