The headlight bezels are white, and you can see the weatherstripping between the bezel and hood.

The ones that I duplicated are slightly different, in that they are about a half inch longer than the original ones to better fit the space that the occupy. Maybe if I sand down the round part, they might look more like the original ones.

I think that I might have found some. At a autobody shop supply store online. $15 for 100, but I am curious as to what they are called and what the weatherstripping pieces are called and if they are available anywhere. The ones that I made work fine but they don't look like the originals.

I would love to see an in depth instructional video of installation of all the various weatherstripping on an early A-body. My friend that painted my car for me was not schooled in the techniques used to install all of the different pieces of weatherstripping and he installed some of the pieces...

That purple one is all purple with black letters. That white you see is only glare from my camera. Those can only be made with the two colors right now. I would have to go back in to the cad program and add a raised rim to be able to get that third color in there.

I have been using TinkerCad a lot and I was trying to figure out how to make the offset for the headlight rings. There are a lot of tricks to doing some of the design phases and I just don't have enough time to spend messing around with it. I thought that if someone already did the hard work...

Been busy with the 3D printer again! I made a cool air cleaner nut with the GT, and I made some neat wire clips for the ignition wires. If anybody wants any, just drop me a PM and we can work something out. The GT air cleaner nut costs about $1.00 and the wire clips cost about 10 cents to make...

I loosened the bottom hinge bolts on the door and inserted a couple of shims under the hinge and tightened the bolts back up. I also had my drivers side door not aligning properly when trying to close the door. I would have to lift and close to stop the banging of the striker against the post.

As far as cost goes, I only use 1.54 meters of filament for the front badge and about a half meter for the rear badge. A roll of filament has about 315 meters on it and the roll only costs me about 18-20 dollars. So the cost for the material for both is about $0.06 ! I'm just having a great time...

I did figure out the center chrome ring, but I need to find a really good chrome like paint.

I found my original 270 badge, it is slightly different.
