I did these temporary 6 years ago! Just Marine grade vinyl over the original backing board. Super plain but fine till I do something else. Only issue is the marine grade vinyl is soft and gets marked up by my fingernails. And my fingernails are unnaturally short!. Just something to think about...

Eastwood has a spray chrome that they are now offering that looks like the Alsa chrome. I have had good luck with Eastwood stuff so you may want to try that! Cley

I cut the diamond shape under the hood out to allow the scoop to be functional. It works well but I've never driven it in rain so not sure if that will be an issue. Cley

Should I black out my hood? I like the black in contrast with the red paint and the vinyl roof but I am not sure if I do the hood too will it be too much? Eventually I'll have a black go-wing too. The plan always was to black out the hood but now I'm not sure. Cley

This is the flip top cap I put on my Duster. The adapter is from a member here. Search "Flip top gas cap adapter". I bought it second hand but unused from another member. It installs easy and looks great in my opinion. Cley Cley
