There are no slip yoke 64-65 small block cable shift trans. Small block slip yoke started in 66 when the 904 became a mechanical linkage trans.

Go buy a Firm Feel or Hellwig sway bar kit and be done. Far superior mounting brackets, hardware, etc. Every single piece you will need.

The slant 6 centerlink will work until it doesn’t. Everything was all good in a 65 Valiant that I had until a scary lane change. I accelerated while changing lanes then lifted off the gas and the oil pan sat on the centerlink with me heading for the guard rail.

Some of the marine intakes are different than passenger car. Do you have pictures of the driver side where the throttle cable bracket bolts on? Also, is the carburetor pad flat or milled on a forward leaning angle?

You will have to modify your stock 273 metal motor mount brackets and use stock 64-66 a-body V8 rubber mounts.

Those aren’t Spyders. AKH Wheel in Washington state has some. $$$$

This thread is exactly why we need a sticky with all of the CORRECT info on a proper V8 swap into an early a-body. But I’ve been told that will never happen.
