Fitech Dual Quad fuel plumbing with return line

Here's how mine is plumbed. Seems to work very well. It's hard to see but the inlets both go to the drivers side of the throttle bodies. The return lines come off the back of the passenger side of the throttle bodies. Jack

    FI recommendation for 360 Dart

Hey Roy, good to see your feeling better. I went with the Fitech 2x4 1200PA system on my 340. I made sure I installed it properly and shielded all the wires. I went with a Walbro 392 inline pump and in 3 years have never had a problem with it. I don't think there is a lot to give between the...

    Fuel injection throttle body

I have a FiTech 2x4 1200PA system. It's on a 340 with 6-71 roots blower. Maximum hp of engine is about 700hp, maybe a little less. I used a Walbro 392 inline pump. It has timing control but I don't use it. I am a fuel only application. I did my homework before installing and shielded all the...

What EFI Systems are you running?

I have a Fitech 2x4 1200 PA system. I love it. Starts and idles without touching the go pedal and is very responsive. Like the others have said, be careful with the installation and shield the wires good and everything should work great. Jack

    EFI setup

Sounds like you and I put it in the same place bob. I have a Walbro 392 and it was a very easy install. I have a 100 micron filter before the pump and a 10 micron after the pump. Jack

Nope, I haven't had a chance to call anybody yet. It's no big hurry but I sure would have liked to get a response from somebody. Jack

    Efi tunnel ram ????

I don't see any reason why an EFI system wouldn't be great on a tunnel ram. Remember the adjustments made by the EFI setup are based on the O2 sensor in the exhaust. Yes, you program what you want to happen but the adjustments come from the readings of the O2 sensor. If you want to make...

    I love my Fitech 2x4 1200 system

My 340 Demon has been sitting in my unheated garage for the last 2 months. I decided today would be a good day to start it and let it run for a while. It is -4C and snowing here today. Anyway, I opened the main garage door and then got in the Demon. Without touching the gas pedal I turned the...

    Fitech

I have the FiTech 1200 2x4 setup. I used a Walbro 392 with a filter before and after the pump. The pump is mounted to the frame next to the stock tank and the return line ends at the top of the tank at a bung I put in. Not a hiccup yet after two summers. Jack

    950hp problems .

Just throwing this out there Aaron. Have you checked around your intake ports? I know you were having oil transfer problems with the heads and I was thinking that maybe there is a casting problem around a port. You never know. Time to get the propane touch out and see if it is sucking in propane...

F.I. Tech or Holley sniper. Opinions from users.

I installed the FiTech 2x4 1200 PA system on my blown 340 last summer. I think it's a dream come true so far. I even went out to the garage last weekend when it was -15C and tried to start it for the first time since November. Never have to touch the gas pedal and it started on the 3rd rollover...

    EFI Conversion

I did them both at the same time but in very small increments, maybe 1/16 th of a turn at a time. It worked but was very slow and at times it seemed like it did nothing. You are now into the part that I know little about, tuning. I found that the system learned on it's own really quick. Jack

Your not going to believe this but I only set the idle and the AFR settings for cruise, idle and wot. Other than that I let it learn on it's own and it didn't take long and it runs just fine. Maybe someday I will play with the other settings, but for now, it's good. My warm idle is set to 950...

I just used the stock cable for a 318. I had to make a new bracket and it is not pretty, but it works. I will make it look a little better this winter hopefully, with a little powder coating. I wasn't worried about a kickdown linkage as I run a manual reverse setup in the tranny. Jack

Sounds like you have things under control. What I did when I took the ballast resistor out of the loop was use a jumper wire to connect the existing wires so that if I ever wanted or had to go with a ballast again I would have the wires ready to go. I used the same gauge wiring as the FiTech...

    EFI Conversion

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask so don't worry about them. When you have a MSD 6AL, MSD blaster 2 coil and the MSD dizzy you don't need to run a ballast resistor. I'm not sure if you need all three MSD products to delete the ballast resistor, maybe just the 6AL. Using your photo...

No the white wire and blue wire together may be a little dicey. I used the same wiring as your are going to. My other post was wrong. I will fix it. I ran the blue wire to the tach out on the 6AL and the white wire to one side of the ballast resistor. Please note that I don't run a ballast...

My blue wire goes to the tach output wire from my MSD 6AL. I have electric fans but I don't have the FiTech controlling them so I can't help you there. My white wire goes to the ballast resistor. I kept my setup as simple as I could. No fan control or timing control. My timing is being...

I have had the 2x4 1200 PA system on my blown 340 for about 400 miles so far. I tend to lean toward the K.I.S.S. way of thinking. I have had MSD ignition all along and it works great so I stayed with it and bypassed the timing control. My engine is locked out at 31 degrees. When installing the...

    FiTech EFI system

I finally got my 1200 PA system up and running on top of my 6-71. I have only driven about 10 miles so far but all looks good so far. I found the throttle response was to touchy so I made a few adjustments to my linkage to slow down the opening rate and now it is much easier to drive. Speaking...
