Keep in mind most sets of big block Mickey Thompson and Holley valve covers that come up for sale were Made in Japan (see the casting inside). They have minor cosmetic differences over the originals and somewhat inferior aluminum but they clean up nice too. I'll get you a few pics of my stash...

Just an opinion, but if you've never had Convo Pros before be ready to devote LOTS of time to polishing and upkeep. The design is cool to look at but a total PITA to keep up. Not even a Mother's Power Ball or small chick fingers successfully get in all those crevices.

The pic you posted show a set for a big block while the description said LA. It was a guess on my part. :D They also cast some with rounded off corners like these.

I have an old bench top blaster you can have -- pick it up or cover the shipping. TPTools.com has gloves and your local glass shop can set you up with some laminate (two thin sheets affixed to raw glass) which is a bit heavier duty than raw untempered.

They're pot metal so be careful if you decide to get them powder coated.

If you find some, double-check the baffle screws. Every set to cross my bench were finger-tight.

When you find some, please be sure to double-check the oil baffle screws and make sure they're tight (Loctite would be a great idea too). Every set new and used that's crossed my bench over the last 13 years has had barely finger tight baffle screws. Good luck on your hunt! :D
