Another possibility is getting a Gearvendors. Still not cheap at $2800, but then you only have a 0.78:1 OD gear. Which would be plenty for me but not sure about your setup. Then add in another $100 or so to shorten and balance the driveshaft. Unless you have a good buddy that'll do it for you...
