I’ve got 14x7 Cragar with 235/60x14 on there now all the way around- no problems. Liked the ability to rotate as needed. No alterations to springs. Occ rub up front but fit well in rear with an inch clearance tire to fender... Want to go 245/60 or 255/60 in back if I can.

I thought so too... but this is how they list it now. Unless I am reading it wrong? 08/61 S/S for 4" SBP are uni-lug 61 C S/S only for 4.5" are direct-fit

I just really wanna give it more of an "old school" stance and fill the rear wells up more...

I have a cell phone and AAA as well... as last resort. But- I have no problem bustin out the jack and changin my own tire if its safe and Im close to home. Brings back alot of memories... the good old days I guess.

How far does it bulge out of the spare well?

Man, I remember mounting my 1st Cragar SS rim back in the late 70's. Was pumped as I rolled out my new set of Goodyear Polylas tires and it took me less than 1min to snap the center of the rim on the old style tire bust machine. Be honest... who else?

The Crager SS rims on my Dart are 15yrs old- minimal pitting and no peeling yet. Like Slots but feel Cragars add a little something extra when they roll up....

CHANGE EM!!! Im with VDart on this one. Do Not take a chance... its not worth it. I had good tread on my tires as well, noting some minor dry rot. So I decided to hold off putting on new tires (I just bought the Dart last year so I had no idea how old the tires were). It almost cost me big time...

Got the new rubber today... ended up going with BF Goodrich Radial TA (235 60x14) all the way around. Like the look and affords me the luxury of rotating as needed. Will post some pic ovr the weekend. Thanks again for all the pics & suggestions! :burnout:

Thanks again for the great pics! Is there anything stamped on the rim that indicates backspacing? Im guessing my Cragers are not as there is about 3-4" from inner tire to spring and only 1" from outer tire to fender (3/4" on one side actually). Would be close... and I also have chrome wheel...

Thinkin about 70 series on front and 245/60 on back... I like the old school look. Would like to lower the front a little but more worried about headers and speed bumps. Thanks for the pics.

Only problem is not many tire shops stock a 60 series 14" tire. The place Im getting them from is having them shipped. Guess I could make a few calls and see who may have a set to compare... Ill have to remeasure the rims- I thought they were 7" all the way around.
