Hi Chuck. The photo Professor Fate linked to is mine. It is not the correct color scheme as far as I know. I just painted it to what I thought might look neat on my '65 Barracuda. The '66 piece is not correct on my '65 anyway so I just winged it. Maybe it does look funky, I don't know. :)

The greasy stuff should come off with a scraper. I used a propane torch to soften the rest. Scraped off easily. Cleanup from there.

I agree. I could tell I was close to screwing up but controlled the heat to get it there and no more. Just my experience. I did consider myself lucky on that one. It can work though.

Hi, my windshield is out ('65 Barracuda). The center measure of inner flange "edge to edge" in the vertical direction is also 22". The channel "edge to edge" in that same position appears to be 23-3/16".
