    Early A trans mount

My car did have the single bolt mount but the tranny support did have the 2 bolt holes, mount must of been changed when they changed out the trans. Is there a difference between the supports that have the one bolt or 2 bolts? I noticed you said the single bolt mounts have some kind of tab...

    Early A trans mount

I thought it was actually the same tranny mount, do you have a pic of the 2 different kinds? I’ll be using the factory 4sp trans with my magnum conversion. Does the trans type matter in the mount? Thanks

    1966 Barracuda engine mount help.

I did the same thing as Keith Mopar, motor mounts and ploy lock from Schumacher Creative Services works well and bolts up perfectly but not cheapest.

    Radiator and Fan clearance...

I'm in the same spot as you , have a magnum short block installed and was going to go with an LA style water pump ect, but have very little radiator clearance so was thinking of switching to a magnum water pump, mostly looking for ideas but leaning towards Keith Mopar setup. Thanks Dan

How and why do 65 Barracudas have various trunk props?

Keith Mopar those are the correct points for the locking trunk props to go on. Take at look at the 64 Barracuda here and you can see that is where they attach, not sure what the fellow above is thinking, confusion like the state I'm usually at. lol If you look at both sides of the trunk the...

    New Tires and Rims ?????

I ran 245 60 14 rear and 225 60 14 front on my 65 Canadian Valiant (Same as Dart) this was on stock Rally wheels. No clearance issues that I remember, but it was a while back.

    Canadian A body vin decoding

That's not a bad site for early A cars. They even have a forum on there, and since the early A info is sometime scarce it's good to have a another place to go. http://www.earlyabodyforum.com/

    65 cuda gas tank

Very good point rapom65, This is where my early a Valiant leaked was the gas cap. It wouldn't really slosh out just enough to get the a little wet but you could always smell fuel real bad. I got a new gas cap from this guy on ebay and it stopped the problem. damraider is the guy on FABO. ebay...

    '64 Dart+8.25" rear+17x8s=???

That style of rim looks really good on the old Dart! Are you putting the same rim on the front?

Anybody following the Violent Valiant build?

Wow great build, not many early A's being done that for sure. And this build is exceptional.

    Building out a 273 recommendations

I'll agree with the rear gears, my Valiant IIRC had 2:56 gears in it. with the 225 the gas pedal was used as a on off switch. 3:23 would be a minimum for ya. You could also step up to some 318 heads although you wouldn't be able to use your existing intake, use softer cam, The TTI exhaust...

    3 Point Seat Belt Conversion

I too would also be interested in this. I have a 67 Valiant, not an early a but I'm sure the belts would be close fit as well. Checked out the ssnake oyl site above and they do have a lot of colours to pick from and some hardware kits as well. Has anybody else ever bought from them? any...

    65 cuda paint ideas

I like your 2 tone ideas, the part that looks funny is the painted area in front of the rear bumper. it doesn't look right.

    Ball and trunnion boot replacement

Nice diagram. But you still have to press out the center pin which is the hard part.

    1965 Dart GT Convertable repaint

Really looks good, I love the Black car with the Black roof.. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to body work, but why is the primer so glossy? I am doing my 67 Valiant and the primer is dull like your first pictures.
