On a side note, I've used DAWN PowerWash on lots of stuff. My most recent was cleaning the algae/mold off of my Rubbermaid shed. I figured if it's safe enough to bathe wildlife after an oil spill, it's probably not going to hurt anything I have.

I replaced the radiator, as well as the upper and lower hoses in my '71 Dart GT, back in the spring of 2019. I also added the hood to radiator seal (from DMT) at the same time. For the life of me, I cannot remember if the lower radiator hose had the spring in it. If I were to grab and squeeze...

Pardon my ignorance, but why/how does a radiator cap's pressure rating affect the cooling system? How can you tell what lb rating your radiator cap is? Also, I have the MP viscous fan package that puts the fan's clutch approximately 1/4" - 3 /8" away from my new (last spring) radiator (Spectra).

That is exactly what I'm experiencing. I have between 1/4" & 3/8" between the radiator and the fan blades. Do you know which Hayden short shaft you used?

Does anyone know what comes with the Mopar Performance Viscous Fan package? How tall/short is the one in that kit?

Nope, its original and crusty under the hood. The car's exterior was repainted by the previous, previous owner probably 20 years ago (I've owned it almost 16 years now).

Just visited Jim at DMT and picked up (and installed) the hood to radiator seal. Never noticed the holes in my hood for the seal. I wonder why the original seal was removed?

Was the hood to radiator seal installed on every car ('71 Darts particularly) at the factory? If not, are the holes to mount them on every hood? My car does not have this seal, but I plan to put one on it.

I had a hose clamp slice through the heater hose. As the engine rocked the slice would "open" and coolant leaked out.

Same here, just removed the compressor, condenser, drier, etc... I left the vacuum lines and water valve connected. I need the heat and defrost for early spring & late fall cruising. Summer time is made for "hot" rod cruising!

Because I didn't know which water pump my car had, I ordered a 6-vane and an 8-vane water pump from A1-Cardone. The photo shows that A1-Cardone puts the 8-vane into both the 6-vane and 8-vane box (notice the 2 different part numbers). Both water pumps were returned. Beware!
