Not sure at that temp. Most likely not. What's 200° going to give you, possibly a tenth? Will it void any warranty or loosen the ring? I think I'd hone it a couple tenths and maybe make sure the keyway cut is not raised with some bluing.

What I came up with on a 440 automatic crank and an uncut 833 input shaft. Maybe some of these dimensions can assist. The green is where the bushing (above) would be installed after opening up to the proper dimension. The 2.225" is plenty deep already.

I believe the bushing length is just under an inch.

Compression test on 6 and 8 pull the cover as Rusty say's.

I'd try to pin the noise location down with a stethoscope or stick before tearing in.
