    Clutch disc diameter?

Not sure you can but maybe it's possible to get a measurement from the disc OD to the input shaft spline. 4" and less would be a 9" I believe.

    pivot ball alignment

Check the middle of this page. Click the trans picture ...... http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/4sptech.shtml I like the MP suggestion of the bell crank being "straight across in any view". I'd relocate as necessary.

    Clutch pedal retaining clip

Is this the bell crank end clip? Is you pedal rod worn, maybe burred up or tapered in the ID of the holes from use? Maybe have someone work the pedal while you watch for twists and bends by the rod and or the bell crank. Bad engine or trans mounts allowing excessive torque roll?

    Mr Gasket Vertigate question.

I like the V-gate. Had it since '80. IMO, it does tend to be a little more work and can be tiresome, especially on the street. The handle can be a bit of a reach for some. The gate finger lift setup does not present itself well ergonomically for many. Add to that, the separate reverse shift...

    Clutch Linkage

FWIW, here's a thread with pictures of the A body HD pedal set. They don't show the firewall brace plate............ https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/heavy-duty-clutch-pedal-assembly-value.402441/ IIRC, the DC bible recommended extra firewall bracing for power shifting with a high...

    Flywheel locks after Bolting Bellhousing?

FW bolts should have a short head...... Disc "flat side forward"............ Even if the disc is in backwards, I wouldn't think it could stop rotation........... It's possible I'd guess. Did you indicate the bell in to the crank CL? Is the release bearing able to move fore and aft (not...

    Clutch pedal sticks

FWIW, The OC spring works in both directions of the pedal with a B&B setup. Pushing the pedal down, the OC spring assists you (your leg) in compressing the plate springs to release the disc once its "over center". As you let off the pedal the OC spring lifts the pedal up to the stop once the...

    Cutting A833 Input Shaft Question

FWIW, I'm thinking the majority of factory cranks only had a center drilled for machining. Others had various rough dimensions drilled. Then there are the application specific for the manual trans. Those LA & B-RB cranks that are not drilled can house the newer converter snout bearing for a...

    Cutting A833 Input Shaft Question

I have no way of knowing. Maybe you can use my previous drawing I posted and base it on a LA or B-RB engine setup to determine if its cut to fit in the crank converter hub bearing(?). Several editions have been released. You see them available on Ebay occasionally........ A b-body...

    Cutting A833 Input Shaft Question

I may be wrong but I don't think standard Mopar aluminum 833 OD or GM cases had these gussets............. FWIW, The MP Chassis book implies all bell housings are the same length at 7.380". Realize adding a .125" block saver plate relocates the stock pivot point rearward as well. This input...

What Hayes pressure plate is it? A 3100#? I can't imagine a standard 11" scalloped or 10-1/2" with the OC spring assist that taxing on a leg. Have you checked your pedal to release bearing component condition?
