Looking for correct carb mounting studs. (Problem solved)

You local home improvement store or any hardware store should have what you need. Measure the depth of the stud plus the thickness of the base and add 1/2" to get the correct length.

    390 double pumper vacuum

If you can get in touch with whoever built the carburetor, maybe they can give you more information. I agree with the posts of; it could be a bag of mixed parts, or possibly a NASCAR unit. If it's a cobbled together piece, you'll have a good time trying to tune it and it probably won't have good...

Any of the above methods will work, it's all in what "YOU" are comfortable with. I have done it both ways with the head on with no problems. With the head on, and you do the work you may have an incident. If that happens, you will have to pull the head. It's one of the "Flip a coin" to make your...

    I think I'm missing a nut.

I would definitely add one, some of the old Chebbie 265s didn't have balancer bolts. A friend had one and I road to school with him from time to time in the 60s. We crossed a set of train tracks and he had it wound up tight. To make a long story short, the balancer hit the pavement, two pieces...

    Clifford Hyperpack

In my dealing with Clifford about a year ago, the clown that answered the phone (Larry) claimed to be the owner since the old man died. I sent him pictures of the misalignment of the 4 barrel adapter to the M2300 Clifford intake. Never heard back form him, emails, text messages & phone calls are...

    Clifford Performance

I bought a 4 barrel plate to install on one of their intakes, granted the intake was over 35 years old. The plate would not line up with the bolt holes no matter how it was orientated. I called Clifford & the now owner, not old man Clifford told me it wasn't his problem.

    Slant header ID?

In the next to last & last picture of post #1, if you had someone with a rosebud tip heat either of the 2 collectors, you could tweak one of them so they aren't crowding each other. Which got tweaked would depend on where each of them were aimed to get your exhaust run well. Just my .02 from...

    Tip for removing radiator

Good choice, as mentioned don't forget to blow the transmission cooler so the isn't any water in it. And while you are at it, replace the upper & lower radiator hoses & heater hoses for peace of mind.

    Tip for removing radiator

Put a piece of rubber hose between the 2 cooler lines. That way you don't have a puddle of tranny fluid under them. Have them check the drain petcock if you haven't already. take the hose clamps loose & unhook the hoses, take the bolts out & remove the radiator. Then reverse the process for...

1976 Dart Overheating and other issues

I agree with Mattax on the radiator, it needs the tanks taken off & the core cleaned & inspected completely before resoldering the tanks back on. A true radiator shop can do ALL of this, if they just want to flush it, you can do that on your own.
