I got my gauge cluster back from my upholstery guy. We went with a silver carbon fiber pattern vinyl. I have the gauges mounted in the unit and ready to install. Not looking forward to connecting everything under the dash-just not flexible anymore. This is what the face will look like...

Looks like a 73+ E-body seat to me.

There should be a brass 1/4" fitting in the intake manifold with a 1/8" male hose end. From there, through the firewall grommet and to the vacuum gauge. Since yours is not hooked up look for a 1/4" NPT plug on the left side of your intake manifold. That is where the fitting would install.

I have used a lot of SEM product. I think it is actually a vinyl dye.

I ordered the legendary foam/cotton kit for the back seat of my barracuda. I could be getting a little from the front buckets too. Back seat is out but tuna time calls.

I put 71 Challenger seats in my 67 Barracuda. I had to redrill my 67 mounting tracks to fit the 71 seats but they look like they belong there. (to me) I also retrofit 3 Pt seat belts into my 67 before I installed the seats.

Your best bet is to find the correct frames from a donor car with factory bucket seats. Post a wanted ad in the correct forum.

I put 70 Ebody seats in my 67 Barracuda. I had to use the 67 tracks and redrill the seats to the tracks but it was a worthwhile change for me.

I installed my GV controller in my console and had to access the wiring and shifting mechanism after the console install. That driver side carpet was a great asset----------------:-)

Don't do it, it covers some of the shifting mechanism and gives access from the flap to the underside of the console without removing it.

Don't cut it, that's how it's supposed to fit. When the seats are in, you wont even notice it.

That was my predicament. I did it per my photos and used a marine grade two part epoxy to bond the washer to the car upon installation. Can be done but takes patience and flexibility.

So here is your fix, I just went through it. Do your stretching exercises! Mine came out super! The nut is a 7/16 NF welded to a standard 7/16 flat washer. Its stronger than the sheet metal it sits behind.

I refurbished mine with SEM products. Available at a good auto paint supply store. I think it's detailed somewhere on my build thread. The brightwork just polishes out. I installed my GV overdrive control in the compartment, wish it had a cup holder though.

Two possibilities, the seats are not what you thought or there is a significant difference between 72/73 seat rails. Alaskan TA may know.
