To make my new tips fit there was some cutting on the rear lower panel. The right side had never been used so I located it and matched it to the left side. I am thinking about 1/2 of the tip up in the panel with about 1/2 below and about 3" of reveal past the lower edge. We'll see.

For me step one would be determining what it is.

I bought spring perch shims, had to because I lowered my transmission mount over an inch to accommodate my gearvendors OD install.

It will, I set my pinion 1.5 degrees down.

If it was me, I would read the existing angles on the transmission and 3rd member and log them. Then I would shim motor both sides equally as required. Then re-read the transmission and 3rd member angles again and if required shim pinion up or down To original angle readings. But that's just me-----
