Big Block Low Deck engine install in 68 Dart

Nice builds here. On my Valiant with B Engine, the only Plug i hate to change is no. 6. I drilled a "service hole" in the Fender to reach it. But its just because i used B-Body Headers and that thing is routing direct in front of the plug. All others are easy.

Best stock oil pan for400 stroker to500 BB in a 70 Dart ??

197 or 699 Oilpan. If you can weld, you can raise the capacity yourself.

    440 Build Plan

I use the Trick Flow 240 Heads, so they flow pretty good at .600 - .700. And to have a benefit from these Ports, i go in the middle of that. We will see what it makes. Anyway, enough for the little Valiant:steering: combined with the 4-Speed will be hell of a Fundrive!!

    440 Build Plan

Yes i was close to decide for a Howards Cam, but then go to Hughes. Its a Hughes Cam, and the Lift is rated with 1.6 Rockers.

    440 Build Plan

That Camshaft is really small! So if you want to stay with this tiny cam, you can save money and buy a set of stealth heads or edelbrocks. You dont need the TF Heads with the cam. If using the TF heads, i would go bigger with the cam. For better idle quality just choose a 112-114° LSA. I build...

512 cam selection, what do you think of these options.

Howardscams is good to go, and Hughes as well. No other experience yet. Sure its always better, because of the exact grind for your needs without compromíses. Also, it could be, that there is a of the shelf cam, that fits your needs best! But a custom grind is not that much more expensive

512 cam selection, what do you think of these options.

Would go around 248-254 @050 and ~600 lift You want an of the shelf bumpstick? Otherwise i would custom grind one.

    Piston Rings?

Hi Guys, i´m in need of help here. I got a good deal of a Stroker kit 451. Has got K1 con rods and a Mopar forged crank and Arias Pistons CP 4314. now, my problem is, the Pistons measure 4.380 on top, down low 4.385. So i guess these are for a 4.385 bore? My problem are the Rings. They are...
