Anyone running a B&M Starshifter 80675 with a bench seat?

Trust me, it's not the best shifter by a long shot. But I really didn't need a race type shifter. Plus it came with the car and I felt that it did look better than other brands of floor shifters.

Anyone running a B&M Starshifter 80675 with a bench seat?

I'm running a Mega Shifter in my Dart Sport. It's easy to get a hold of and the plastic console gives it an almost factory look. Ted

Bending turn signal lever to clear aftermarket wheel-- advice?

I had to do the very same thing when I installed that wheel on my Dart. I just held the lever in the vise and tapped it lightly with a small plastic mallet. It belt easily and now I have plenty of clearance. Ted

    Dante's sound deadener carpet

I see that Dante's has some pre-cut peices of sound deadener. Has anyone ever used this product? I know that there are many ways to insulate the floor before putting in the carpet,Fat-Mat, Dyna-mat ect. But this looks pretty nice with the pre-cut sections. It could make the job very easy...

    Plating At Home

Just an FYI. If you strip chrome from aluminum parts it will go down to the raw metal. But if you're attempting to strip parts that are steel and it has been triple plated the first plating process is nickle and that will not come off of the steel. Only the chrome and the copper will be removed...

    Plating At Home

One of the guys at work has the zink plating kit from Eastwood. He used it to restore some motorcylce parts and was very happy with the way the parts turned out. I'm planning on using it myself soon on some shifter parts. Ted

Correct me if I'm wrong but was'nt the radio & heater an option on these cars? But somehow they always made it into the final sale. HA! I dont care where you live, someday you're going to need the defroster and even if it works like crap it's better than nothing!
