    72 and earlier OEM-equipped disc brake cars were SBP. 73 and later OEM-equipped disc brake cars were LBP.

    fatman, '72 A-bodys had SBP (both drum & disc brakes) and you'll also be down-grading to small ball joint UCAs. Not many guys would go that route. You'd be better off finding a 73+ A-body with discs for the swap. These parts will also be BBP.

    Your '74 already has the big ball joints on the upper and lower LCA's, so you're good to go.
