Depends how much more work your willing to do, I'm guessing you have everything to drop the 408/ trans / wiring etc in it in a day. Not sure what you have, will need, fabricate, etc to get the hemi/ with trans and wiring all sorted out.

What did it have ? The drive shaft will be a problem but any guy running slicks won't bother with a stock replacement you could have a local place make a strong light weight one made up.

Nobody's even played with upping the superchargers boost on the hellcat yet to my knowledge. That would be tweaking the tune right? I would expect mid 9's out of this cat with the usual bolt on upgrades like exhaust, converter, spinning the blower quicker. Hi flow air intake.

Maybe to quiet the engine, they used a insulation pack under the b/rb intakes back in the day.

Run valvoline VR1 racing oil 10/30 or 20/50. It's made for hi performance engines and is available everywhere, you can add break in stuff for the first fire up if you like.

I would go for it if you can get it cheap, my 4.7 has 210k with very little replaced. Actually the only new engine parts are water pump, t stat housing and exhaust gaskets and bolts

From what I hear about that intake for the LA small block is it is effective on very large 420+ Ci and more importantly high rpm stall, and hi rpm redline, like 7k minimum. Definitely dual carb or six pack setup. Not many running this animal. Good luck.

they know what they have in R&D and what it will cost to make such a small run, they know they will only sell a very small amount so that is the price to recoup some of the cost.
