    Ok I'll probably get beat up for this one, but why not head over to Home Depot... get some 2"x2'x 1/16 flat metal stock Maybe1/8"???. Cut some 6" legnths.     Yes, the Heater Cores are the same. The actual box that the heater core resides in... would be different between a/c n non a/c cars, I'm 99% sure of that.

    Have you ever considered wrapping your exhaust with the "tape stuff" Oh I forget the name off hand.. That could greatly reduce underhood temps.
