This is NOT encouraging.... especially since they are doing those `68 Headlight bezels that are calling my name. I hope they "make it right...". BTW: I bought my door handles from VANS Restorations. They sell the `68-9 Black button handles for about $130 a pair. With no pitting after 2 years.

Buffer is already in the garage. And unless they re-pop the rocker panel spears I need to polish, yep.... I'll keep it. But since I'm keeping it, I'll do the grilles. I have them already disassembled.... 8)

As an alternative.... Back when I was building models I used to use Model Car World paint. They are pretty damn close to an exact match for the factory color. They are sold as aresol rattle cans, or in a jar so it can be air brushed. Preperation is the same as lacquer. A 4 1/2 oz. spray can is...

If it can be done, paint it black, put on the red stripe, and thumb your nose at nightmares and put in the red interior. Just make sure you hang a little baby booty from the rear view mirror..... that will make it all right. 8)

I eliminated the radio opening in my dash and antenna hole on my car. It's not that I don't like music (I'm also a musician...) it's just that I have stereo already: left tail pipe and the right. 8) Besides, if you decide to add a radio later, go with satellite since commercial radio sucks...
