I had the same problem. I ended up grinding off the welds, then install the bushing and weld back. You have to be careful not to get the bushing too hot and melt it. Have water close by to cool it quicky.

I prefer the look of 1 or 1.5 above stock. Especially if you are going with a larger tire combo. I have used the ESPO springs and I think they are fine. I put a set of Eaton's on my 71 Duster with 1in over. I hope to put some Cragars on it someday. Nice cars!
