    New garage-floor covering....

I used a product called Rock Solid Floors. It's not an epoxy like the other stuff out there. Prep is pretty much the same and as is with anything, probably the most important step. I tell you, this stuff is durable. I haven't chipped it or scratched in the few years it's been down. My only...

    Valve spring compressor...

Lisle Corporation I use this one. Just did some roller springs with it. 580# open like butter! I think you can pick it up under $100. I like to put a hose clamp around the retainer end once it's set as extra insurance that the jaws don't spread open while in use.

    Rapid Air System

I used the system with the plastic push-in fittings and it was horrible! I got everything all cut, trimmed, layed out and first time I pressurized the system the "push-in" fittings started blowing out. what paint/epoxy you guys use

It's been a while, but here's some pics of the shop and the floor that is 57 years old and in horrendous shape. Despite the prep work it required and the fact that it looks like it was troweled with a garden rake, I think it looks pretty good!

    what paint/epoxy you guys use

I used Rock Solid Floors to do my garage. Despite the slab being 56 years old and looking like it was trowled with a garden rake, I think it looks pretty nice. It's only been down a few months, but I've been dragging a 900lb. mill and a 1200lb lathe around without any obvious damage. I'll get...
