    We took the stock A body mounts off, the tubes were only tach welded so we ground those off and installed larger tubes to accept the B body polly bushings i ordered. New leaf springs came with B body bushings.

    We welded in Hotchkis frame connectors. they sit up nice and high, and were easy to weld on.

    Can you use caltracs and lowering blocks?

    From experience, caltracs don't work very well with multi leaf springs, they prefer a mono leaf. A lowering block will only change the rear ride height, not the arc of the spring. The position of the caltrac to the spring will not change.

    I have a nice healthy big block in my duster, i took 125 lbs off the engine with aluminum and lite weight parts. car is now 3100 lbs with full tank of gas without me in it.

    I have a set of Afco leaf springs and 10 position adjustable shocks at all 4 corners. i have no issues with hooking up.

    I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Dr diff's kit is 1/2" front and rear, or whatever is needed to keep the leaf springs at the correct angle. I also got a measurement from him for center to center distance on the new spring pads i got as well as they needed to be moved inward...

    No. Buy a set of 9-10 position adjustable shock for all 4 corners. I have Rancho RS9000 on the rear and Strange engineering on the front. I have Afco leaf springs on the rear of my car, great leaf spring.

    On the motor, Heads, intake, water pump mini starter, headers, aluminum rad, hood, aluminum wheels. car is 3100 lbs with full tank of fuel. Stock bench seats full interior.

    I have a set of 340 bars in my duster now with a big block the same weight as an all steel small block. plus a glass hood saved another 35 lbs. My car rides and dives well with those bars in it as well as Strange engineering 9 position adjustable shocks.

    When you are sitting in the car, looking forward. Drivers side is Left, pass side is right. R should be on the pass side. I have a set of 889 bars, came out of my 71 duster 225 slant 6.

    Yeah nothing on the frame, the front hanger bolts into the factory 4 holes with 3/8 cap screws attached. Mount the front spring eye first before installing.

    But wait. I forgot. lol you will have to cut off your original spring pads on the diffy, then move them in and re-weld them on the housing, in order for them to drop back on the leaf springs. Plus you need to measure the pinion angle too before you start, then make sure the pads are at the same...

    So those are just a resold QA-1 kit? go to the QA-1 site and see what rate they recommend for the front weight of your car. Or total weight of your car. what do you have have for a motor and trans? small block big block how much aluminum? Have you had your car on the scale at all.

    Be better and safer to just rebuild your leaf springs with the ride height you want. Everything else is just a band aid.
