71 Demon Hood Stripe Dimensions?

Dude you got the lower one upside down...

It took my Buddy and i 4 hours to get the stripes on, we had all the correct tools, and solution to keep it all wet so you can move the decals around to get them right.

I ordered my stripe kit from Dante's.Upon inspection, the kit was missing the 340 decals. lolol i ordered those plus the 340 hood decal from Phoenix Graphix: Car Auto Decals Graphics, Factory Restoration Stickers My Duster emblems for the front of the stripes are black so you can see them.

I got my 71 stripe kit from Dantes, at the time they didnt include the 340 decal? So i got those from Phoenix Graphix. Took 4 hours and 2 of us to install them including the 340 Wedge hood decal.

Put mine over top on my 71. Not sure how you would ever cut that out without ruining the stripe kit?

Should be able to pop the headlites out as if you were going to put new ones in, and unplug them like that. Now depending where the ground wires are for the front, that could be tricky

No as long as you prep it correctly. I used a scotch bright pad to scuff it up then wax and grease remover, then etching primer then paint.

I painted mine Machine Grey on the outside, and flat white on the reflective side. Read a long time ago that white works just as well.

My fenders were not mint, but very decent. I took them to local do it yourself blaster, got the correct media, and pressure and my son and i blasted both fenders and the diffy housing. Took it home and saw what i had to work with. The undercoat below that lip is a bear to get off by hand. lol

Its a 2 person job, i cleaned and painted all the brackets then bolted them to the bumper. 2 people to slid it on the car install the bolts. snug the bolts then line it up and tighten.

I had hood issues as well. pin on glass hood solved that issue. A body Hood hinges are not the greatest
