My71 duster is pretty much the same car as your demon. Rears are 15x8 with a 4.5" backspace and a 275/60/15 fits no rubbing. A 255/60/15 fits well on an 8 " wheel as well, nice sidewall to it. Fronts are 15x6 with a 205/70/15 no rubbing at all.

I have seen this in person and have taken a measuring tape to it. Stock duster with no mods. 15x10 pro stars with a 5.5" BS and a 28x10.5x15 MT et drag slick fits with no mods. You need the 5.5 " bs if you run a 10" wheel.

Section width on the 10" rim was 12.5" i believe. It was years ago that i measured everything off the car.

Ugly ones. HAHAHAHAHA. I like the Duster though, just needs Aluminum slots to make it look right. The dark color of the car demands a nice polished wheel.

Use a good dish soap that works every time. Make sure the wheels are not pitted, also what are you using for a valve stem?

I have 15x8 with a 4.5" BS on my duster with a 275/60/ 15 and its under the lip.

On a Duster with no spring mods at all, my buddy ran a 15x10 with 5.5" Back space and a 28x10.5 MT et dragslick no rubbing. Demon should be the same . I was going to buy his used tires and wheels, but they were ugly Pro stars so i passed.

Not sure only rubbed when i made a right hand turn with a passenger. They are cooper passenger car tires. Lifeliner i think

Well i have a 205 /70/15 up front and then set the ride height up as it rubbed on the pass side with someone in the car otherwise it was fine alone. Not sure if a 215/70/15 would clear? Thank you for the compliment.

Yes i did. I bought an offset spring hangar kit from Dr-diff, was $150.00 i think, and a new set of spring pads had to get those welded on the diffy housing. Moved the spring in 3/4 " flush with the inner wheel tub.

They are weld Drag lites.

15x6 up front with a 205/70/15. 15x8 rear with 4.5" backspace and a 275/60/15. PersonallyI wouldn't go larger than a 15x6 up front, and a 255/60/15 fits a 7" rim better . Car has been lowered 1.5" in the rear now so the car sits down nice.

Our cars are similar, mine is 3320 with me in it, 3.73 gears, 3500 stall flashes to 4000 28" tall tire.

Do you know how heavy your car is, and what gear do you have? My car with 525 HP and a 3.73 gear slide rules out to that exact same time. I am at 3100 lbs without me in the car.

How fast is your car may i ask?

I have been running the 275/60/15. On the street i run em at 24 psi, they dead hook from a roll, spin 5-8 feet from a dead stop on the street. Have not been to the track. They recommend 18 psi at the track.

Oh yeah get rid of the bias ply tires, and go with radials all around. the car will drive way better. I had radials on the front and bias ply on the back, that was a huge mistake.
