Interesting. I might have to look in to this as I have Procar seats up front and can't stand that the rears look so different. These look like they would match up way better than the original seat. Anyone know off the top of their head the difference between the Duster seat width and my '68...

I have the Procar Sportsman 1610's in my Barracuda. Seem like ok seats and are comfortable to sit in but haven't driven with them yet. Not a fan of the looks, though, for an old muscle car but should work decent for this vehicle's future purpose, some mild autox.

The 303 protectant is my prefered but if you need a decent, find-at-any-store, protectant then I suggest Meguiar's Natural Shine. It doesn't stay slimy and does work pretty well.

I don't see why you couldn't make your own. Upholstery shops shops do it all the time.

Not sure on the texture of the originals (I own a notch back) but there are a lot of things that can be done with the various bed liner coatings to get different textures. Eh, just an idea on something to look in to!

Does anyone repop the remote mirror bezel nut? I need one and can't seem to find them.

Personally, I would either go black or body color. Anything else would just look out of place IMO.

What do you need to know? I'm a former MECP (sorta like ASE certification) installer.

Huh? How so? They are specifically made to fit older cars like your Barracuda.

I can't bring myself to cut the dash, and mounting it underneath is just tacky IMO, so I'm plan on going with that one. It has everything you need. Remote control, 4 preamp outs, USB and SD remote input, and the mini-jack on the front so any Ipod or MP3 can be hooked to it. That does everything...

I would really like a day/night mirror for my '70 Duster. Was there a factory option available or is there an aftermarket unit that mounts like factory? Also, was there a passenger side mirror to match the driver side remote mirror like in my pic below?

My speedo is bouncing like crazy. Pulled everything apart and it is the speedometer. I'm looking for recommendations for a good, reputable shop to fix it. Also, would like a guestimate on about how much it is going to cost me?

For those of us that live in much hotter climates, like AZ and TX, I most definately can see a reason for insulating the roof! Even more so with a dark colored car.
