I think one reason it fired up and ran on the old gas is that it’s ethanol free. When you get the tank clean put ethanol free gas in it. It will last longer and not destroy the fuel pump.

After stripping it down to just the shell, put 2 large holes in the bottom of the rocker panels then flush the entire body from the roof down through the pillars to the rockers to the frame rails every nook and cranny. Same for the dash , cowl , doors , hood and trunk lid . Then dry everything...

Actually the front end design was intended to make the transition to the '67 square body not so jarring. Same for the '66 Valiant to the '67 Valiant. But the '67 Barracuda was a big change from the '66.

Stay away from FLAT it will look like POO in no time and won't clean up. Satin is the way to go on the steering components. Satin or Gloss on the K member, but gloss only if the K member has been smoothed. That MY opinion and I'm stickin' to it :)

I beleive the box is the standard step side box . The fenders are modified 2 door station wagon quarter panels along with the tail lights. There are no reproduction parts. This will take a world wide search and most likely a bunch of metal work. Good luck finding what you need.

OP take you car up to http://www.SandersonHeaders.com and have them make a set for the early A's. That way I can get a set for my '66 :)

OP do all us early A bodies a favor and take your car up to Sanderson Headers and have them fab a set for small block Mopars. Then I can get a set for my '66 :)

On my trailer we added a section of hitch receiver to the tongue. Its welded vertically to the center tongue brace. A stinger with a plate welded to it mounts the winch. This makes it possible to remove the winch when not in use by simply pulling the pin and lifting it out of the receiver...
