    Sounds like its time for a break. The trans dipstick tube is removable if need be, and I was watching a show the other day and they showed a flexible tube and stick for hot rods with clearance issues.

    I put a Flowmaster kit on my wifes car..everything fit nice and clamped without welding.

    Are you sure you have the right manifold. I just checked some casting numbers last night. I have a left side that turns forward, 64-66 Dart/Barracuda, and I have one that turns back, 67-68 Dart/Barracuda. I just came across a 69 Dart on e-bay that shows what is supposed to be the original motor...
