    Not real happy with autometer

    I have the C2 gauges also but they are mechanical and the big tach. One day the tach starts reading about 3000 rpm high. I call Autometer, they say check that is has the full 12 volts, it does. I call them back they tell me to send it in and they'll check it. Now this tach is about 2 years old...

    Yeah, I was prepping new cars at a dealer in the early to mid 70's. Those vacuum switches (not phony BTW) were hooked to the left outside turn signal light indicator mounted on the fender. It let you know when you stepped on the throttle to hard. lol

    Bad ground or a blown fuse. It's feeding back through the lamp circuit.

    Battery kill switch.

    I used a relay in the battery positive side of my alternator, but I'm running a Nippondenso mini alternator that I've essentially wired to be a one wire alternator. Still the relay in the positive field wire should work for you.

    a-body headers

    There's no doubt my Heddmans leak some but then they are the large tube version with slip fit pipes. I love these headers by the way, cut the flanges and they can be installed without jacking the car up. I did have to open up the port adapter plate though and that was a major pain in the rear.
