    I've never gotten better than 20 with a slant on the highway. And that was being very careful with it. Hell I get 19.4 with my 7800 pound Cummins 4WD 2500 on the highway. Where the hell is the sense in that?

    If you could have wrapped some leather or rubber or something around the rod journal and been able to put a hose clamp on it it would have probably lasted much longer and kept from losing as much oil and oil pressure as well.
