Will those parts off a 1970 slant 6 or a 318 Duster work too?

The good news is they were the same on a 4 door Valiant from ‘74 to ‘76 so that opens up the numbers available. The Dart had a different style (both lenses and chrome) so don’t look at those.

318/340 motor mounts are the same on the passenger side but different on the drivers side. A quick search on this site will outline the difference on the drivers side. There have been a few recent threads on it.

I think those are the ones in the engine bay from the cowl to the fenders.

The rear quarter patch panel for a ‘75 Dart (not Dart Sport) will be a perfect fit for a ‘75 Valiant or Scamp.

You can also broaden your search to 1975 as it was the same grille except for the marker light lenses being clear instead of orange/yellow.

1976 was the first and last year of the Dart Dart Light and Plymouth Feather Dusters.

I emailed Edelbrock a few years ago asking about when the LD4B was produced and they said from 1967 to 1981.

The asking price of LD4B intakes appears to have gone up over the past few years! They are rarely listed for less than $225 without needing a lot of work. It is a good intake though. I’m glad I bought mine about 4 years ago.

What size of motor you working on for your Valiant? If it’s a mild 318 then using the 7 1/4 until it breaks will be fine. I wouldn’t hold up the motor work waiting for a 8 1/4.

Is it the same bezel regardless if it’s a export or non export car? If it is the same bezel then even a non export 4 door would have the part.
