Hey, does anyone have the exact location for the passenger side fender pentastar? (as well as the hole sizes) My AMD fenders never came with the holes. This is for a 1970 Dart.. I’m sure 67+ are the same.

Wow, nice car!! If it's an original 340 car that came with the bumble bee stripe, I think it needs one back on it! They only had two options.. Stripe delete which had the body side mouldings or the bumble bee stripe so IMO it needs it. Anymore pics?

The middle tab on the grille attaches to the hood latch support. The rest of the grille attaching points are on the fenders. Here is a better picture of the tabs on the grille. I had to remake mine since they were all missing.

These are the best pictures I can get for tonight.. They are sheet metal L brackets that attach to the fender and tie into the grille tabs. There are only two of them.. The grill contains the rest of the mounting tabs built in.

I just dug thru some old pics and found a pic I took of under the gas tank before I sandblasted it and it looks black to me.. With orange overspray.

I used totally auto's grille silver for my grille and it is dead on! I heard the next closest thing to totally autos grille silver is GM rallye wheel silver. It has the grey tone to it. The mopar rallye wheel silver is to bright IMO

3M drip chek is the best seam sealer for that application.

Yes they are plug welded to the floor pan on those tabs. I put AMD ones in my car. The AMD ones have little stoppers where they butt up against the inner rocker.

I use RM 900 wax and grease remover (made by BASF) I find it works the best on all solvent based paints and is not harsh at all. I find the cheap wax and grease remover (pro form for example) is a to harsh of a solvent and will eat most plastics and take some base coats away. I use the pro form...

It should say DTM (direct to metal) somewhere on the can. Pro form makes it and it seams like decent primer. Sands easily and isn't to expensive. It's high build 4:1 ratio.

I'm pretty sure the other difference is the lack of jack slots in the bumpers too

Lower radiator support. AMD (auto metal direct) makes these now and they're very nice pieces. Same gauge as original and has the alignment tabs laser cut into them as well to locate the frame rails, just like the original.
