73 Duster. Bought an under dash harness with bulkhead from Year one. Plug and play! That said, you will still want to bypass the ammeter gauge; discussed extensively here. Inspect your bulkhead connectors front and back as there is always a problem wire common to melting

Best wiring harness for 73 Duster

I bought a year one (made by M & H) for a 73 Duster. It was a little different than the original. I would send the old harness or photos to make sure they replicate the replacement. Mine was non a/c etc. etc, but needed some rewiring unfortunately. A guy I talked to for the same mode/year was a...

    73 engine harness

You have to buy them through Year One and they are @ $500. M&H Wiring Harness makes them for Year One. When I bought mine, the fuse panel was used but all the wiring and connectors were new.

Anyone use this Modified Engine Harness from Classic Industries?

I bought one for a 73 Duster via Yearone made by M&H. They used a factory fuse panel which was not new, but clearly used. It would be nice if they at least upgraded this panel.

Had the same problem on the 1/8 mi strip. From the x mas tree to the finish line and down the return road. I tried to unhook the horn relay under the dash and man was it hot!

Where can I find this part in the internet world? What is the proper name for it? (It connects to the relocated battery from the bottom and then to the starter relay from the top)

Don't you just hate it when

Take a look at your connections at the bulkhead. They are prone to melting. I replaced my bulkhead and wired the alternator wire directly to the starter relay. (Bypassed the ammeter gauge) Problem solved.
