    I'm guessing you are aware. Got to make sure you don't have the higher psi residual valves used on at least some drum systems.

    The manual master cylinder uses a different diameter piston (smaller I think) to reduce the force required. They're not that expensive, better to get the right one. Ask here, likely someone will have a rod the right length.

    Clamp the line to the brakes. Do a SLOW test drive.
