The 66 is my favorite Valiant. I had a 63 and then a 66 with a 273 but sold it. I still have my 66 red convertible Valiant. Great wagon you haver there. I had a chance to buy a couple of rust free ones when I lived in California. I dilly dallied and never got around to it. Big mistake

Did it not have undercoating or did you get it off or did I miss that part? I am dealing with the same kind of work.

Real solid base that needs some parts and TLC. I have a 68 and love these models. Mine has a ways to go too. Brought it with me from California but eventually going to be a slant six to 360 swap.

I took my 66 Valiant convertible with me when I moved from California to the midwest. Red with red interior and white top. Stlant six, 3 on a tree. Needs restored. I'm a teacher too but I doubt my 9th grade American history students would be up to the task of restoration. Great car.

I am always amazed at the skill level and can-do attitudes of members on this forum and your excellent work with this car is another example.

I too have a red 66 Valiant slant six convertible. The body is almost completely rust free and needs little work (I bought it when I lived in California) but the interiror is a mess. Did you have trouble finding seats, carpets, etc.? I've checked with Year One, Legendary, and so forth and most...
