I really didn't find em that loud. I went to Super10's shortly after. I think you'll probably like them. I think my loud tolerance is higher than most.

I got em. Hell I just cut the "H" outta my brand new TTI 3 inch system to weld em in.....they don't sound as good as open headers, they probably won't help ET........but people seem to LOVE them. Open them up at the cruise and watch the faces! Gotta make em happy.

Currently have the Flowmaster 10's on there. Pretty friggin loud with the 2 1/2 system, especially over 3000 RPM. I don't mind loud but honestly, the Flowmaster, to my ear, don't have a nice sound. No clue what muffs I'm going to run yet. Hopefully loud with a "nice" loud, if ya get my drift...

You are right on there, sir. Things do get a bit noisier.

I think 2.5 tails defeats the purpose of going 3 inch. Your pipes are only as big as the smallest restriction...... Sound right?

I just can't see how anyone could take a hammer and start banging away at 700 dollar headers. I know they can be a bear to install and get "just right", but it can be done.

Got mine 2010. No probs yet. I mean let's face it. Ya won't run quicker.....and they don't sound REALLY good like open headers, but most people seem to get a kick out of them.

I do not grind mine off. They look too damn good. I use a MIG. TIG is definitely best if ya got one and can do it. My point is, if you have a good MIG welder and know how to use it you can do some pretty nice exhaust pipe welding. It does take time, patience and practice.

I keep my joints as tight as possible. wire speed up, heat down.....no hurry. Always have beautiful joints that can be ground off or left as is. Aluminized exhaust pipe can be tricky. If you leave gaps at the joint you will get a kind of "sugaring" on the inner surface. Buy some pipe and...

Hey I have a buddy running Spintechs. He's 13 to 1 and 700HP, so I can't really get a good idea about how they'd sound for me, but 'ya know what? They sound kinda weird to me. Like a new Mustang with glasspacks. Or maybe that Euro sound... I guess I'm old school.

Remflex it is. Found em online but not sure which ones. My RHS heads have rectangular ex. ports. Looks like I might be trimming them a bit. By the way, are they copper or what?

Tired of buying and trying. What is the best header gasket money can buy? I'm running Indy RHS iron heads and TTI headers. Small block LA stroker. Somebody please make up my mind.

Doug's or TTI. And by the way, neither are "easy" to install. Time and patience are required. I put Doug's on my Demon last year and maaaan it's tight under there. They do fit, though. And tucked up nice and high.

They're timed ok. You can actually see a very small gap on one side of the butterfly valve. You can force it closed with finger pressure, but it flexes back open. Either not perfectly flat or the housings aren't. Dougs look really nice....Race Ready does too. Not sure yet.....
