Ok so I changed the fluid again,,,today I checked it and its a mild pink color :D. Messed with the rad some more Finally got it to working properly. took the car for a drive and it stayed just below 190 but the overflow tank is still bubbling slightly. More air in the system??

actually its funny...it hauls *** down the road..doesnt slip a bit. drained out the fluid again tonight and replaced it with more fresh stuff. Eventually Ill have it all cleaned out heh.

yeah...might as well put a new one in anyways being as how its easy to get to. I just wish this car would act right long enough for me to get some cash saved up. This water in the trans thing is breaking the bank.

could taking the hose off the top mess with it? like settle some stuff in it to where it wont operate properly? Because not even 2 hrs ago it was working fine. It didnt act like this until I put in the new rad just now.

yeah I ran water through it. no clogs

I ran it for 5 minutes and it started bubbling the temp was @ 190 maybe a little higher

both hoses are cold..and my overflow tank was completely empty??

yeah I did..and the coolant overflow tank is bubbling worse than Ive ever seen one. Everything is tight and put on properly.

Got the trans cooler, doesnt hold liquid so I just went ahead and got another one. As much as I hate to say it the radiator isnt working with the car, having some major over heating issues. yeah they are..but the dont carry anything below 90 anymore...not many salvage yards carry anything that old. When they do..they wanna rape you on price then make you go pull it yourself.

OK so after several hours today of my boss driving me around to oreillys and stuff like that Ive got the problem temporarily solved. Drained the trans Dropped the pan and then cleaned everything out. Blew out the filter with some compressed air and put everything back together. This is just a...

I just bought a new gal of trans fluid last night..thats when I found out that I was geting water in the trans. I was supposed to be at a small charity carshow/cruise sunday. If I get the trans cooler up here and change out the fluid..will it last a 5mi or so drive?

Ill have to see what I can do. Right now bills are due and i dont know if Ill have any cash until next week. this goofy thing always seems to go nutty in between checks.

ok so just connect the lines together at the rad...drain the trans, flush the rad and block the holes, then refill the trans?
