    Cheap Carter Fuel Pump?

Don't let the 5.5-6.5 psi fool you on those carter street/"STRIP" pumps, i have run a few & the lowest one put out 8, my last one drifted to 10.5, you will need a reg. with those, Now Mancini does offer an HP Carter pump for "street" like the old muscle car carter pumps, those i think are rated...

    Tunnel Ram Guys Carbs

The 600s are a decent carb for the ram, good street carb, not so good for drag racing, 750s will be abit too big, especially DPers.

adding a proform main body to a 650 dp

A larger carb has a weaker signal, so picking the "right size" is key, it has everything to do with both air/gas, they work together, more CFM means more gas unless you don't want it to function propperly, In my opinion, the 650dp is all you need for a 318 combo like yours, now for the lower...

    Holley Black Fuel Pumps

They are good pumps, they will easily support 600 HP easy, I ran a blue on 500 HP for 2 years & never an issue, free flowed 1 gallon in about 35-37 seconds, dropped on a black & used the blue for my nitrous, the black shelled out 1 gallon in 22 seconds, car ran exactly the same. Just make...

    Holey 4bbl DP carb

That is a 3310 trust me!!!! Nite moves, Even if it isn't junk it won't bring much money, throw it on e-bag & you'll see i'm right. Its been hacked up too much & it has rust. I'm just telling you the truth so don't take affense :D

    Holey 4bbl DP carb

An HP series, Rumble are you blind LOL, its just a 750 3310 Vacuum secondary, not a DP, They came with no rear metering block, straight leg boosters & 2 corner idle, The way the carb looks, i'd move on to another, its most likely all jack'd up on the inside & its rusty too. The boosters look...

Is there a way to store carberator for a year or 2

Don't use Vegtable or ANY cooking oil, It will react with the fuel vapors & become sticky, kindof a funky tacky paiste like feeling, WD-40 or Blaster penitrating oil, just be careful useing cheap penitrating oils like walmart brands supertech, it has a higher consentrate of water base & i'm sure...

    Holley 750 backfire.

4.10s are good, Is it just a standard MP dist.? If so, you could tear it apart & weld up the slots & install the light springs, but its hit & miss on the slots, you may need to tear it down a few times & add more weld or file the slots till you get it right. How off is the V pan with the port...

    Holley 750 backfire.

If its farting back through the carb the "most" commen issue is timing, low timing, not advanced enough, or not advancing quik enough, but a lean transition will do the same thing, I'm guessing timing at this point, especially if its acting up about the same with the changes, You yourself feel...

    Holley 750 backfire.

I would pass on the B&M, that 3200 will be about what you already have now, Yes the PTCs are VERY streetable, I ran 3 different styles & all were "dead on" with the flash stall they were set up for, The plus side is now they all come with balloon plates for nitrous use.

    Holley 750 backfire.

I would'nt use it, you'll be messing with 1 set of points going wacky on you, it WILL piss you off in no time lol. Shoot for 20* int., it'll respond great, then add the 16-18 mech. all in by 22-2300, NO vacuum advance, plug it off, just your int. & total mech. I would definitly invest in a...

    Holley 750 backfire.

With that cam, I'd lower the total advance to all be in at 2200 & get as much initial as possible, That 3000 stall is abit tight too for the cam, at least a 9.5" 3800 would work much better. Good ignition is also key, I don't use Mopar ignitions or ECUs anymore, unless its on a mild engine, Get...

72 Dart Struggles and Dies today, Why?

Choke setting needs re-adjustment, Its either too loose or too tight on the choke door, Or the "vacuum pull off" is not working, You just need a second set of "eyes" under the hood with air cleaner off when 1st. started cold too see how the choke door is acting, then have them either close it...

elderbrock performer 600-750,, or stock 625 afb ??

750 is too big for what your intentions are, Big is NOT always better unless there a set boobs, & even then theres a limit there 2, stay conservative sense its a 318 & primarily street driven. Here is one of many on e-bay...

elderbrock performer 600-750,, or stock 625 afb ??

225.00 doesn't seem bad for a new carb if it has the elec. choke.

elderbrock performer 600-750,, or stock 625 afb ??

Either rebuild the factory 625 or get the 600 eddy, for what you have a 750 is just too much. BTW, That is a beautiful car!!

    600 vs 750 Holley

    tuning question

Fish, I'm not familiar with E85, But i do think it requires more jet, but not as much as Alcohol, You could install small PVCRs & use the standard formula for gas as a base line, then just jet from there for best power, With those PVCRs being so large, it should still balance out useing the 67...

9.1 PSI Carter M6270 Mech Fuel Pump

No, you mean its not good for a carter carb :D, believe it or not no fuel seeped pass the seats 8-).

9.1 PSI Carter M6270 Mech Fuel Pump

It will happen on those Carter street/strip pumps, My last one would creep to 10.5 lbs. lol, you need to run a reg., But get a "good" quality one, no junk like procomp..

    Still has a stumble/hesitiation

Have you tried "running it" with larger jets? Those 750 Mighty Demons will not run good with a 65-67 jet, Try running 73/74F 82R with the 31 squirters & the 6.5 PV, i'll bet your problems disappear.

    Power Valve Question - HELP

1st. off lol, listen to what you are saying, you qouted, a plug should cause a lean condition at ANY time the PV would be in the closed position, but then you say, Increasing the jets will cause a RICH condition at low throttle settings LOL, But you qoute, the PV should not affect the idle...

    Power Valve Question - HELP

Yes if you don't up the jetting, but it will run a bit richer in the idle curcuit, if you go up on jet size like your suppost to, it'll get about the same amount of fuel for the main metering. The PV is an in-richment valve, it delivers extra fuel into the main jet wells when under load (low...
