I miss the days of the 40% discount at LKQ. I haven't seen that since pre-COVID. The LKQ in Ontario usually has a good inventory of old Mopars. I pulled a 440 out of a motorhome there. I pulled a 400 out of a land yacht in the Wilmington LKQ.

If you settle for a 5.2 Magnum. I have one I could sell you. Otherwise, LKQ is your best bet for a 5.9 Magnum. You can easily locate one because the LKQ yards are full of old Dodge RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500's. They even post the VIN number so you can use a decoder to see what engine it had.

Who built this engine? IMM Eninges? The power was similar to my engine built by IMM Engines. Mine is an LA block with EQ Magnum heads though and a XE268H cam.

@Orionsax7 Brian and Fred built my engine too. Been running great! I have the Magnum EQ heads though. I'm bummed out that EQ no longer makes those heads, but aluminum has greater power potential anyway for your build.

Yeah, I get that they are mounts. I read the description on the image and it appeared that they were '73 and up Slant 6 to V8 conversion mounts. Unless, I read it wrong. It just seemed like it would be easier to start with a V8 KFrame and use off the shelf mounts (of course, that might open...

Nice!! But why didn't you just get a '73 up V8 K-Frame? Is it because then you would need everything else to go with it, such as suspension and brakes (which would add more cost)? Just wondering, that's all.

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't have anymore but I'm always looking out for them. I got lucky and found like 4 of them, but I sold them off. If keep looking on the wrecking yard sites to see if I find car without the A/C.

Have a video of that running?? How do you like it? How does it run? How are cold starts and warm ups? This is what I want to do since I have EQ heads with the LA pattern.

It's a bummer for sure. I'm running a set of these heads and I have another engine I wanted to build with these heads. They're great iron heads. I'm happy with them.

By any chance, anyone know the part number for the belt that fits the non-A/C alternator bracket + Van Power Steering bracket? Or, should I just look up a '99 RAM 1500 VAN with a V8 and no A/C? (picked '99 year randomly, is there a better year to pick?)

Hey @dartslantsix I was wondering, are you running an A/C compressor or an A/C delete pulley in your setup? I know someone that is trying to the run the Magnum serpentine setup but without and A/C compressor OR A/C delete pulley while using the Cherokee power steering pump. He needed help...

Yes! The low end torque is insane! I guess the only way to beat it (in terms of low end torque) would be a stroker or a big block. I'd like to add Fuel Injection but the cost is pretty steep.
