You forgot on SKINNY BIAS PLY tires ... put a set of slicks on it and it will go faster . So far a duster has gone 1140's and that was with the 72 340 manifolds . :pirate:

I want to say the original ultra flos were a crimped case muffler which is why they were deemed legal for FAST series racing because they LOOK stock .

We used the 3" XR-1 on the Enginemasters entry , man do they sound sweet. I still have them , hopefully I'll have something to put them on in the future.

Was the box with the crimped muffler open by chance ? I've seen wrong boxed mufflers at a parts store before , someone swapped the higher price muffler into the lower price muffler box .

I didn't order the kit , I just order tailpipes , they didn't offer headpipes to stock manifolds so buying the H was useless to me , I didn't want an H because my car didn't have one stock. I got them from a good source and he knew what car I was working on , I'm not sure what else what might...

Unless they changed something they did not exit in the right place on a 68-69 Dart , they swing inboard of the frame rails after they clear the gas tank , the STOCK FACTORY mounts for my tips need the pipes to be directly under the framerail . Maybe the barracuda uses tailpipes like that and...

The pipes slip OVER THE OUTSIDE of the tips , look at how thick the tips are , you are not going to crush the tip with a clap to secure it to the pipe , on the inside only if you plan to WELD it to the tip . Stock A body tailpipes are 2"

I made the mistake of buying just the 2.5" tailpipes , they didn't fit right and the outlets are not in the stock location , but the 3" are ??? Biggest waste of money in my case ... good luck ...

Is this going to pass inspection in Commiefornia ? It's quiet because of the X pipe ,an H or no crossover would make it louder , and you are correct , 3" on that engine is too big .

the TTi rear hanger hangs off the hole that the rear shackles occupy, so no they will not fit , get some bent local

on a stock engine a set of headers , especially those little tubes , are not that big an improvement .

That's a pretty silly statement Dave , mopar put a bunch of 383's in cars and they were a big part of the of what made Mopars name back in the musclecar era on the street . As far as the 2" exhaust , yes it's going to be a restriction even with the small tube headers , the factory 383 cars had...

Look again , the passenger side is DIFFERENT from the std B body manifold , the down tube that connects to the exhaust pipe is a couple inches longer and it angles in toward the engine . I'm pretty sure by the date codes those are 67 only manifolds , the drivers side is different and more...
