How do you like your Mopar, stock, pro street, restomod, etc.?

I think it depends on the car a little some mopars came out of the gate looking good and sassy others need a little more help to bring out their spirit. All need upgrades to motor, exhaust and chassis so they can live up to the legend .

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I'm definitely not a holly expert, I ran Carter's for 30 years but have been running Holleys for the last few I would be looking at the primary circuit and accelerator pump possibly. Good luck

May as well buy a restored Mopar.....

It's all pretty doable with decent mechanical abilities until you get to the body and paint :realcrazy:$$$ I paid $1,200 for my 340 Swinger in march of 1978 all original pretty much the way you see it now minus the new paint job, and interior and motor upgrades .LOL

May as well buy a restored Mopar.....

It just take so much time, I have other things that need to be tended to and my energy just isn't what it used to be. I don't want to come home at 5:00 and work on my car till 9:00 or 10:00 it's more like a few hours maybe on the weekend. For those reasons I could never start with a basket case...

    Intake opinions

Yes this would be for a stroker, I really see no advantage of a dual plane with a 4-in arm there's gobs of torque below 3,500 RPMs and and I personally would not run a dual plane on a stroker.

    Intake opinions

Yeah I run an m1 for many many years and is one of my personal favorites the only thing I was considering is the square bore flange. But $250 for a new m1 is a killer deal no getting away from that.

    Intake opinions

So I have a chance to buy a weiand xccelerator in good condition it is 225.00 what do you think. I feel it would make a really good stroker intake.?

So I went to the first car show of the season last weekend Corvallis Oregon, really nice turnout beautiful sunny day 68°. Got there a little late there was a great variety of cars from old Mercury's Camaros Chevrolets Buicks, rat rods just a really nice turnout 120 cars. But as I left a few...

    Thumbs up to Howard's cams

That's a lot of cam for a 340 I love it! That sticks nastier and a two-headed dong

    Thumbs up to Howard's cams

I've never ran a Howard cam but I would not hesitate, they have some really nice grinds and have never heard anything negative about the quality of their cores.

    new type of Demon

Yes I have to agree, I thought about that combination in an a body before but in my opinion just a nice built 340 400 horse with 400 foot pounds of torque normally aspirated is a much better match.. and the sound well that goes without saying.

Air Gap intake back form media blast.. clear.. paint or run as-is?

One more great option you can have it polished.it's much easier to clean and with a little aluminum polish and elbow grease , sexy.

Air Gap intake back form media blast.. clear.. paint or run as-is?

Here's my 40-year-old manifold, I just use brake cleaner and a clean wire brush and rags. I think the secret is to never let it get too dirty.

    A Weird Weiand (sb)

That was my very first 340 high-rise in its square bore configuration.combined with an AFB competition series 750. I think it was Weiand answer to edelbrock's LD 340 that thing would flat move some air.
  25. K.O. SWINGER

Wow....the price keeps going up on these....

Okay maybe I'm missing something, wouldn't be the first time LOL but this took me about 5 minutes to find these two and there's plenty more where that came from.
  26. K.O. SWINGER

Wow....the price keeps going up on these....

It is obvious that the small block six pack parts have gotten out of hand in price. But they are extremely rare in comparison to B or RB manifolds which I believe are both still being cast by Edelbrock and are readily available.

Which Muscular Mopar Under $60,000 Would You Choose for Your Dream Garage?

I think my 340 swinger has my muscle car covered, mine would be a second generation viper. Or maybe 73 slapstick small block cuda

Why doesn’t my Plymouth Duster have a passenger side mirror?

all the right side mirror does is let you see the next piece of Japanese crap that's going to cut in front of you at the light. Besides that the only time I miss it is parallel parking it's much harder to judge where the curb is to keep from scuffing your tires.
