    Moog offset upper control arms

I run tubular uca. One thing ive noticed is the camber doesn't change nearly as many degrees as it did with the original arms from ride height to wheel off the ground.

    Torsion Bar Recommendation

1.03" t bars, stock front sway bar with urethane bushings (because I cant make the new 1.125" bar fit right yet) one extra full leaf in the rear with 7/8" rear sway bar and Bilstiens all round. 67 FB 340 Cuda rides stiffer than stock but corners flat. Front will under steer when pushed because...

    Torque box question

I think only the hemi and maybe the 440x6 B bodies got the torque boxes. Never heard of an A body. Maybe the 68 hemi racers.

    Torsion Bar Grease

Cross member to socket isnt where the grease goes. Im a Steel Mill Industrial Mechanic. We used anti seize on everything to avoid rust seizing parts. Works for me.

    opinions on pinion/driveline angle

Thanks, I realize the trans up 5* is not the best but I have an aftermarket 5 speed trans and it is very close to the floor now. If I cut the tunnel bigger I wont get the stock console over it. My thinking is split the difference kinda without inducing a vibration cruising but making everything...

    opinions on pinion/driveline angle

I'm asking for opinions on whether I need to change my pinion angle and how much. I measure the trans 5* down and the pinion 5* up. I'm thinking under heavy load that the pinion angle would be too high. I've got a 7 leaf rear springs with the top and the added leaf that are full length. I don't...

    Front end alignment at home

pins pulled to set anything even toe,,,you'll have to set caster and camber together because one will probably effect the other and you'll have to go back and forth. Get you're camber close and then go after caster. bounce the chassis after each change to settle it. also the rears should be at...

    16:1 vs 24:1 steering

16;1 Flaming River with 205-14's, 3 1/2* caster,,,I wouldn't go with any slower of a box. No problems.

    Front end alignment at home

I had to fab everything but the tabs. I used heavier that original gauge steel. Tabs were spot welded in, now welded in solid. Everything I could make bigger or more reinforced I did. Fingers crossed, and inspect every spring.

Opinions wanted on solid front spring eye bushing

My poly bushings added a fair amount of harshness I'd hate to feel a solid bushing on the street.

    Front end alignment at home

The tabs seam less that perfect but them and the top of the shock brackets were the only things left on my Canadian Fish once I got the inner fenders off. The car had only seen the winter from '67-'76. They had already been hack repaired once in the 70's. I got a surprise!!! I didn't know FABO...

How To Replace your Lower Column Bearing: Better and Cheaper!!!

    Steering wheel removal

use a puller, or make one,,in my younger days I pulled one off by hand while in the car and nearly broke my nose when she came off. learned that lesson the hard way. with a puller they come off easy.

How To Replace your Lower Column Bearing: Better and Cheaper!!!

I'm not sure why you think the roller bearing might lock up. The unsealed bicycle type bearing that was in my column was getting crunchy and tighter as it was failing. The roller I installed is sealed on both sides to keep the grease in, lightly pressed into the plastic collar and is a slip fit...
