    In the 1970 Challenger Dart service manual it lists U bolts for 8-3/4 at 45 ft.lb and shackle nut for Challenger 40, and Dart at 30. Ray

    There should be some numbers under the dirt, goop, and undercoating. Look at the end of the bar where it mounts in the cross member by eng/trans. Even number (892) goes on right side. Odd number (893) goes on left side. You might even find some paint daubs on them. Blue paint for 892/893, one...
