That's about it but a 340. As far as the starter goes I was reading that the starter and the headers needed to be put in at the same time. This isn't true, there's plenty of room to put the starter in afterwards.

I just put them on my Cuda. There was a couple of times that I had to stop and rethink what I was doing but they fit with no dinging or adjusting. I also got them with no scratches to either the headers or the car. As far as the height goes I would say it's a little better but nothing...

Headers are cool even if they don't help much. If you want my opinion, I'd go have them coated. (unless they're already coated) It'll cost about a hundred fifty but you'll be glad you did. Wrapping just isn't worth it. It's about fifty bucks or better for the wrap and several hours of your time...

I was(or used to be) under the impression that equal tube lengths were thought to be part of the criteria for header design and the fender well header made this a little more feasible.

At the risk of saying anything dumb, I suppose if there were any benefits over the alternative, they'd be the preferred option and they'd be all over the place. There's got to be a reason that you rarely see them

Dougs or TTI is the general consensus. In all reality my Flowtechs fit quite well. I don't know if I got any performance gains and they were a ***** to install. So I went with Dougs but I have yet to install them.

I just bought a set of Doug's D453-R headers. Those along with TTI seem to be the preferred headers among our ranks. However, I don't know if they work with a four speed so someone else will have to chime in. The reviews say they do, but modification to the Z-Bar is a must. Whatever that means...

How old are the mounts/insulators? They flatten out over time. Maybe replacing with some new mounts/insulators will help.

If your mount is at a 45 degree angle(just a rough guess) a 3/8 shim under the drivers side mount will move the engine 3/16 to the right and 3/16 up.

Worth it? As far as performance, probably not. You're committed to 600 CFM on the intake end. That means that you need to blow 300 CFM out of each manifold. I really don't know the flow rate of a 318 manifold but you'd think it has to be above 300. If not a set of 360 manifolds should certainly...
